McGeorge Professor Nicole Kuenzi gives us an insider’s perspective on how administrative hearings work at the State Water Resources Control Board, the agency charged with safeguarding the state’s water resources for all Californians, including responding to drought. Professor Kuenzi, an expert on California water law, serves as a hearing officer within the Board’s Administrative Hearings Office, an independent Board unit created in 2019. Professor Kuenzi brings this expertise to her administrative law course in McGeorge’s Master of Science in Law (MSL) students, part of McGeorge’s part-time, fully online master’s program.
