A delegation of the Taliban met resistance forces in Panjshir for negotiations. The delegation of 40 Taliban members reportedly met with Ahmad Massoud and a number of other people from the resistance forces. Earlier, Ahmad Massoud had called for peace talks but also claimed that his forces were ready to fight. The Taliban find themselves struggling to quell the resistance led by Ahmad Massoud.
