Normal life has come to a standstill in the hill districts in Manipur in view of the 24-hour shutdown called by the All Tribal Students Union, Manipur from midnight yesterday. Streets wore deserted looks as people remained indoors during the shutdown. Meanwhile, activists of the Kuki Students Organisation, Hills Tribal Council have also extended their unconditional support to the shutdown.
Volunteers of the KSO and HTC were seen taking to streets in border town Moreh to ensure the shutdown.
