Groundwork for Beginners: Polite Leading & Going Forward & Back

Here’s a quick video on getting your horse to lead politely. We are walking forward and halting, expecting the horse to come with us softly and then halt, giving us plenty of space and respect. We are then working on going forward and back, often called the yo-yo game, to teach the horse to go backward and forward off of soft pressure.
