In this specific video we're trimming out this front door, specifically, the side light. This is a detail that we think it's pretty botched in a lot of older homes and this is how we tackle it. This doorstop trim on the floor ties the entire area together and really distributes the mass of the front door from the top to the bottom and gives it a nice even and "planted" look.
