KUPPET raises alarm over teachers’ shortage and now wants TSC to employ more teachers

There is a looming teachers' crisis with the full resumption of learning in schools for the first time since the disruption of the school calendar by Covid 19. KUPPET Secretary General Akello Misori says the number of form one students expected to report to secondary schools will overwhelm the current number of teachers. He called on Parliament to intervene and allocate more funds to TSC to hire more teachers
