Welcome back to F1 Focus. Today on the channel, we are going to talk more about Lewis Hamilton questions why F1 is getting heavier. Multi-champion and one of F1’s greatest Lewis Hamilton said that a heavy F1 car brings less excitement for both the driver and for fans.
He added that a heavier Formula 1 car would add danger due to the increased loads to the Pirelli tyres. Back in 2007, when Hamilton debuted in Formula 1, the cars would just weigh around 600 kilograms. Next season, F1 cars will be 775 kilograms. Watch this video showing
