Patriotic Front-PF Truck Drivers Association members have appealed to all Truck owners to ensure that they accord three days off to their employees so that they travel to their localities to exercise their voting right on Thursday next week.
Mobilization Chairman Isaac Kang’ombe says the Association has noted that most of the times truck drivers are not given chance to vote because they are ever on the move.
He says in as much as their role is critical it will be fair that they are given chance to vote.
Meanwhile the Association has charged that truck drivers have been exposed to the many challenges outside Zambia and are convinced that the PF government has offered them best working conditions in the transport sector.
