R. Kelly’s Former Girlfriend Provides Details of Their Relationship

BNC correspondent Candace Kelley spoke of innuendo and code during the latest testimony in the United States v. Robert Kelly trial. In the viral interview with Gayle King, Kelley said R. Kelly would cough to keep the girls “on script.”

She testified she spent five years with the singer as one of his "girlfriends" who lived and traveled with him. She also said R. Kelly gave her $10,000 and requested she should be homeschooled. She also testified that she was forced to have sex with R. Kelly’s nephew, who the former star had been “grooming.” The woman also said R. Kelly would beat her with a closed fist.
