
Stent Intussusception is damage to stent during the process of Coronary Angioplasty. It may occur if Guide Catheter is sucked in or passage of Thrombosuction Catheter, Balloon, Stent or Intra-Coronary devices. If unrecognized can lead to Stent Thrombosis often early, or re-stenosis. The Coronary Angio may seem normal, but with High End Cath Labs as at VIJAN HOSPITAL with it's experienced Cardiologists it's picked up and rectified making Procedure and Patient Safe. Clear stent here showed shortening in length and damage to proximal struts.
