How to safely use the babyhood Breathe Eze Sleep Positioner by Expert Jen from WotBaby

Medical experts recommend that infants sleep flat on their back to reduce the risk of SIDS and SUDI.

The babyhood Sleep Positioner is designed to support your baby to be positioned flat, on their back and help to prevent your baby from rolling over onto their tummy and sides.

The Sleep Positioner is made from a micro towelling fabric that is stain-resistant and colourfast and the inner is made from a firm breathe eze™ fibre. This fibre is tested for breathability and firmness. There is no foam inside our Sleep Positioners, so it is machine washable and therefore more hygienic for your baby.

The Sleep Positioner is adjustable and can be made bigger or smaller to get the right fit for your infant as they grow. The Sleep Positioner is not intended to restrict your baby’s movement, like traditional sleep positioners.

We recommend our Sleep Positioner for use with newborn babies. To safely use the Sleep Positioner, lay your infant flat on their back between the firm rolls of the sleep positioner with their armpits above the rolls – so that they can have full movement of their arms if they wish. Then take a sheet or muslin and place it over your baby’s body and the sleep positioner, ensuring you tuck the sheet or muslin under the mattress of the sleep surface you are using. Ensure your baby’s face is not covered and your baby is positioned at the end of their cot or bassinet, to reduce the risk of them wriggling down under the sheet or muslin. Do not elevate your baby or place them on any incline whilst using a Sleep Positioner. Please ensure you follow Safe Sleeping Practices, recommended by medical experts, including ensuring there is no loose bedding in your baby’s sleep space and checking on your baby from time to time, to ensure they are safely on their back.

We recommend that the Sleep Positioner is used in conjunction with Breathe Eze Cosy Crib.
