We cannot let go and let God of we still want to have control over our lives. We cannot let Him be the sole driver if we want to show him how to navigate the traffic in our lives. We cannot be showing him when to turn left or right, and still claim to have surrendered to him. Total surrender requires trust. Where there is no trust the relationship with God will be shaky. Trying to be in control and giving God the control can never work. They cannot exist together. That is why we should have absolute trust if God is really to have all control over us.
