Your Struggle is a Setup | God is Not Punishing You, He is Preparing You For a Big Blessing!
Trust God through every trial, he will always see you through. Trusting God through difficult times in your life is not easy, when you go through these hard times you tend to wonder where God is, Deuteronomy 31:6 tells us of God's promise that “... He will not leave you nor forsake you.” With this promise, you can be assured that He is always with you and be encouraged to always be with God in faith and spirit. But before I get into this video, I’d like to encourage you to subscribe to our youtube channel, click on the notification bell, to be notified when we upload a new video every time. God bless you.
Drawing from many Biblical examples of God testing individuals, we conclude that victory is always God’s ultimate will and that there is no reason for any believer to remain in the valley of defeat. Your faith in God can deliver you, and you can pass every test. God is every bit as wise, He, too, only promotes those whom He can trust, that is why God will test us to see if we can be trusted. God did not create us as robots but, rather we are given a choice. If God had created us as robots, we would possess no capacity to love Him. God created people with free wills because His ultimate intention was to have a family that would love Him, John 14:15 States “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” For that reason, all believers must be tested to see if they will love or hate God as revealed by their obedience or disobedience. God test Abraham in Genesis 22, He instructed Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son, a very difficult thing to do. When Abraham passed his test “... He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” Genesis 22:12. It’s noticeable that God’s purpose was to test Abraham’s devotion and love for Him.
Thus, God is also interested in knowing how much you love Him. Jesus said you can not be one of His disciples unless your love for your loved ones seems like hate in comparison to your love for God see Luke 14:26 ““If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.” God desires and deserves your hearts’ devotion. God told Abraham to do something that must have been very difficult, and your tests may also seem severe. Of course, any commandment from God brings a test with it. It is those times when your love and obedience are tested, and when you have an opportunity to grow spiritually. God’s desire for you is that you become like Jesus; whose most outstanding attribute was and is His unselfish love.
When God tests His children, He does a valuable thing. David sought God’s testing, asking Him to examine his heart and mind and see that they were true to Him, “Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.” Psalms 26:2 and “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;” Psalms 139:23. Therefore, when God tests His children, His purpose is to prove that our faith is real. The proving is not for God to prove it to Himself since He knows all things, but He is proving to us that our faith is real, that we are truly His children, and that no trial will overcome our faith. In the Parable of the sower Jesus identifies the ones who fall away as those who receive the seed of God’s Word with joy, but, as soon as a time of testing comes along, they fall away. James says that the testing of our faith develops perseverance, which leads to maturity in our walk with God see James 1:3-4 “knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”. James goes on to say that testing is a blessing, because, when the testing is over and you have “stood the test,” you will “receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him”. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. The testing you are undergoing as a Christian will often require you to move out of your comfort zone and into the unknown. Perseverance in testing results in spiritual maturity and completeness. This is why James said “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds” in James 1:2. Hence, the testing of your faith may come in all forms and sizes but God says in Isaiah 48:10 that, “Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried you in the furnace of affliction.” Whatever the source of the testing, it is to your benefit to undergo the trials that God allows.
