Watauga County Body Found
A body was found near the Appalachian trail and people are saying it could have been Brian Laundrie’s.
A death investigation is underway after a body was found Saturday near the Blue Ridge Parkway, according to officials.
The body was found at the Yadkin Valley Overlook north of Blowing Rock. A cause of death has not been determined.
"The body discovered along the Blue Ridge Parkway on Saturday October 9, 2021, is part of an ongoing investigation. At this time, there is no evidence to connect or any reason to believe it is related to the search for fugitive Brian Laundrie."
Lauren Johnson writes, “My fiancé and I found the body. I can confirm that it was NOT Brian Laundrie like everyone is asking.”
Some are speculating that it could have been one of his victim’s.
