Traditional Tofu Restaurant Japan - Eric Meal Time #607

Tofu is made of curdled soy milk, pressed into blocks in a process similar to making cheese. It's a good source of protein & a staple of Japanese cuisine. Tofu is an especially important ingredient in vegetarian Buddhist temple cuisine (shojin ryori). On its own, fresh tofu has a delicate taste. It is a versatile food that can be used in a variety of sweet and savory dishes. This historical restaurant features vermillion-lacquered walls and a classic red bridge. Passing in front of the garden lantern and waterwheel and walking on the steppingstones, you will find yourself back in time in the town of Edo, the Tokyo of 200 years ago.
