You Can Only Have One Compressor Plugin: What Would You Choose?

There are so many compressor plugins out there so choosing just one would seem like an impossible task. In my situation it's not super difficult because I'm just looking for something with an easy interface and a lot of sonic possibilities. For that reason I would go with DMG Trackcomp 2. The gain staging is awesome and there are plethora of compressor models to play around with. Some honorable mentions would have to be things like the Fabfilter Pro C2, U-He's Presswork, and Klanghelm's DC8C. In this video I primarily talk about the options within these compressors, the ways I like to work with them, and my general philosophy to compression. There aren't a lot of sonic examples because compressors are tools that you go to when it makes sense/when you need them. Luckily we live in a world where we have access and can use more than one compressor plugin but if I really had to I could easily live with just the Trackcomp 2.
