Bringing home the bacon just got a lot more expensive. Bacon is up 20% from last year, the highest price it’s been for 40 years. If the $15-per-pound price tag is a little too much for you to stomach, yet you can’t go without your bacon, you can actually make your own. Chef Franklin Becker of Oliva NYC showed Inside Edition’s Les Trent how to make bacon by using pork belly, which goes for about $5 per pound.
