Gas Station Manager Fired After Setting Price at 69 Cents

When word spread on social media that the price for gas was only 69 cents a gallon, people flocked to a Sacramento gas station to fill up. Now it turns out it was all one big mistake that cost the manager who set the price his job. John Szczecina says it was a simple error. The price of gas that day should have been $6.99 a gallon. Instead, Szczecina says he accidentally put the decimal in the wrong spot, making the price 69 cents a gallon.
