After first meeting Banjo, it was time for Kitty Rose to meet the rest of our beautiful big hearted Shepherds; Matilda, Rosie and Lily.
Gentle from the get go, Shepherds are so nurturing of the little ones and this little Kitty now has plenty of big wooly siblings to snuggle into.
Banjo (blue collar) has always been the first to be by the puppies side, he’s been our Puppy Nanny for a while and always likes to shepherd them around. We often have found him at the puppy pen making sure they’re ok and keeping them safe. So we thought he’d probably love Kitty.
Matilda (pink collar) is as soft and tolerant as Banjo with kids, puppies and now kitten, but her love is sport and a little healthy competition. She is very fit and agile and loves to run and race, which is why she absolutely loves lure the most. This is her jam.
Little Rosie (purple collar), the runt of the litter, is the baby and will always be the baby in our eyes and in hers. She’s especially drawn to the kids, she loves them. Second to Banjo, the puppies seek out Rosie, she’s like their big sister and Rosie still thinks she’s as small as them and wants to always pile in with someone … willing or not.
Dear Lily (multi coloured collar), older and wiser than the 3 young littermates who are still only 10 months old, Lily gave Kitty a sniff and was off for a nap. Absolutely no threat to Kitty but prefer to conserve her energy for the next motorbike run or stick dance as this is her love outside of shadowing Luke and napping by the fire.
All very different, but the common quality is how soft and tolerant they are.
We love each and every one of them.
