The large Fairview fire in California is being pushed by Storm Kay's winds. As a tropical storm Kay threatened to bring heavy winds, lightning, flooding, and mudslides to the area in Southern California on Friday, Riverside County, which is already dealing with a spreading wildfire, was under a number of extreme weather alerts. The Fairview fire had consumed more than 27,000 acres of Riverside County by Thursday night.
