People allergic to first dose of mRNA vaccines considered fully vaccinated if second jab is Sinovac

People who had allergic reactions after the first dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine have been invited to receive the Sinovac jab. Those who take the jab will be considered fully inoculated under the national vaccination programme. Parliament has also been told that those allergic to mRNA vaccines may opt to wait for the Novavax shot. The Health Ministry has already procured the jab, with delivery expected by end-2021. 61% of Singapore's population has been fully vaccinated.
