China has reportedly prevented naming Pakistan-based terror groups in the Russia-India-China (RIC) joint communique. The group called for the urgent elimination of UNSC proscribed terrorists for lasting peace in Afghanistan and the region. The RIC joint announcement mentioned Al-Qaida, ISIS for lasting peace in Afghanistan. However, the joint communique issued after the 18th RIC virtual meeting left out Pakistan-based LeT and JeM.
